How Many Words Should I Write Per Post When Blogging?
If you are going to visit some of the online blogs, you will notice that there will be some blogs only post short articles, other post over 500 words, and also a few would post 1000′s of words in each post like an ebook.
There is no real tool or indication that can tell us how many words we should write in each posted content. Basing on SEO expert especially with the change of Google Algo. in February- you should write at least 500 words and up in order to get a maximum result and ranking high in Search Engine. As most of the experts believe, the more words the article has, the higher ranking and value it will get from Search Engine, which it comes to my attention that- Yes, people are right when saying a long content would rank higher than the short one. But not all of it if the content is long and not quality which offers no value to the reader, it is useless anyway. It also need a clarity of true value information as a big part to that.
I would suggest you to start testing on your own. I would suggest you to try the 300-word article first before jumping to 500 words or even higher. The more you start testing, the more you start learning and you will be able to understand what works best for you and your site. Testing and learning from your mistake is what you want to do. There is no one getting success without facing errors. This is what we are- people make mistake, but like I already say- consider your mistake as a learning and never let it happens again and again.
In the mean time, you shouldn’t really worry about how long the content should be, as long as it is top quality information and it comes out from what you obsess to do. You should be happy and traffics will come a long.
